My 2017 Travel Goals
We're almost down to the first month of 2017 but we still have 11 months remaining for travel adventures. Here are 5 of my travel goals for this year. :)
Climb more mountains
It's originally just "Climb a mountain" but since I already did my first ever hike on Mt. Maculot, I think it should be "Climb more mountains".
Believe me, I am not physically fit for this activity but I'm thankful I tried because I proved to myself that I can do it! Not just that, I found a new kind of adventure to love. :)
I'm starting with minor climbs, but who knows, I might go for a major climb someday!
Attend local festivals
I've already been to 20 provinces but I can't believe I have never attended a local festival yet! But wait, is the Chinese New Year celebration considered a festival? Because I attended last weekend. Hmm.
Anyway, I am planning to attend a few local festivals this year, like the Panagbenga in Baguio! :)
Visit my parents' hometown
What I like in visiting my parents' hometown, Bohol, is that I get to see non-touristy places. It's like getting to know more of the town's culture and people.
My family try to visit once a year since most of our relatives are there. Hopefully this year we can see them again.
Go back to a province I've already gone to
Last year, I went to Boracay with my family, together with my boyfriend's family.
This year, I hope to go back to Boracay again, but this time just the two of us. Haha.
Have a staycation
I must be getting older, because I am getting exhausted when travelling. Haha. But nah, I'm sure you'll also agree that travelling is really tiring but we don't care because #travelgoals right? Haha
But having a staycation isn't bad either. You get to relax while enjoying the beauty of a town near you! :)
How about you?
What are your travel goals for 2017? Do you also have one or two goals that are the same with mine?
